Quick Verdict

Twilly is the winner for someone who wants a statement scent. It’s bold, spicy, and unforgettable. Omnia wins for daily wear when you want something soft, intriguing, and universally pleasant. In short: Twilly for nights out and making an entrance; Omnia for work, brunch, and cozy days. Both are excellent, but your personality decides.

Scent Profile Compared

Hermes Twilly opens with a blast of ginger, sharp, zesty, and almost soda-like. The heart is tuberose, creamy and heady, but not overly floral. The base is sandalwood, warm and slightly powdery. Over time, the ginger fades and the tuberose-sandalwood becomes softer, still with a spicy edge. It’s linear but compelling.

Bvlgari Omnia (the original, not the flankers) starts with mandarin and cinnamon, a sweet-spicy citrus. The heart is white tea, very soft and slightly milky, plus clove and nutmeg. The base is woody notes and vanilla. On skin, it dries down to a creamy chai-like scent, smooth, gentle, with a touch of spice. It’s much softer than Twilly.

Twilly is a punch; Omnia is a whisper.

Longevity and Sillage

Twilly lasts 6-8 hours on my skin, with moderate projection for the first 2-3 hours. It leaves a noticeable trail. Omnia lasts 4-5 hours, with soft projection, it’s a skin scent after the first hour. Twilly is definitely the louder of the two. If you want to be remembered, Twilly. If you prefer something that stays close, Omnia.

Best Occasions and Seasons

Twilly shines in fall and winter. The ginger and sandalwood are perfect for cool weather. Wear it for parties, date nights, or any time you want to feel powerful. It’s too loud for the office.

Omnia is a year-round casual fragrance. It’s ideal for spring and fall, but works in summer (avoid high heat) and winter too. Wear it to work, brunch, or running errands. It’s comfortable and polite.

Price and Value

Twilly is more expensive per ounce than Omnia. Both are designer-priced, but Omnia offers more value for daily wear because you use more. Twilly is a special-occasion splurge. You can check current price on Amazon to see the difference, both often go on sale.

Which Should You Buy?

Buy Twilly if: You’re bold, love spicy scents, and want to stand out. It’s for confident women who enjoy compliments. Best for evening events.

Buy Omnia if: You prefer soft, cozy, gourmand-ish scents that are office-safe. It’s for women who want to smell lovely without shouting. Best for everyday.

Can’t decide? Get a travel size of both. Twilly for nights, Omnia for days. That’s my honest advice.
